Create 10 full color illustration to go in a companion reader to the Spooky Classics audio book of classics such as Oscar Wilde and Nathaniel Hawthorne by beloved storyteller Jim Weiss and published by Well Trained Mind Press.. The imagery needed to be spooky but not scary as it’s target range is children 5 and up.
We did extensive research into the time periods and loctaions of each story in order to depict the correct costume and hairstyles of the time period. In order to portray a feeling of spooky but not scary, we used dynamic compositions and coloring to bring the images to life and guide the readers through the story.
